Hyderabad: Scattered showers continued over Telangana for the third consecutive day. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted with light to moderate rainfall weather conditions for Thursday.
“A thunderstorm accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in several districts,” an IMD official said.
These include Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool.
On Wednesday, scattered showers also occurred in the northern parts of Hyderabad.
Hyderabad is expected to remain partly cloudy. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely towards evening or night. Hazy conditions are expected in the morning hours,” the official added.
The maximum and minimum temperatures in the city are expected to be around 38°C and 23°C respectively.
