Chhapra: Saran Police nabbed 32 accused persons, who were involved in liquor smuggling, attempt to murder, loot and other cases, and collected a fine of Rs 54,000 from traffic rules violators on Wednesday night. The police also seized four bikes, five cellphones, one tractor, 55kg of ganja, one katta, and four cartridges from the arrested persons.
Meanwhile, Saran SP Kumar Ashish on Friday called on people to join the “Jan Samvad” programme to discuss community policing. He asked the interested persons to join the online meeting at 12.30pm. Community police volunteers have been doing a commendable job at the Sonepur fair for the last several years.
