Mumbai: An accused in the incident of firing at actor Salman Khan‘s house moved a plea before the special court retracting his confessional statement given to the police. The accused, Rafiq Choudhary, moved the plea before the court on Thursday.
On April 14, a motorcyclist and a pillion rider discharged several rounds at the balcony of Khan’s Bandra home and absconded. Police submitted the 1,736-page chargesheet against five alleged aides of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi—Choudhary, Vikas Gupta, Sagar Pal, Harpal Singh alias Harry, and Sonukumar Bishnoi.
Another accused, Anuj Thapan, allegedly died by suicide inside a police lockup on May 1.
