NEW DELHI: A year after several rounds were fired at actor Salman Khan‘s Galaxy Apartments, a fresh death threat has been sent to the traffic police’s helpline number. A case has been registered against an unidentified person.

On April 14 last year, shots were fired outside the actor’s residence. No one was injured in the incident. Police had arrested more than six persons and said it was the handiwork of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The latest threat message, written in Hindi, was sent to the WhatsApp helpline number of the city police’s traffic branch. The sender threatened to kill the actor using a bomb. Following this, an FIR was registered at the Worli police station against the unidentified person.
In November last year, the city traffic police helpline had received another threat message for actor Salman Khan and an unnamed lyricist, demanding Rs 5 crore. It was the fourth such threat in two weeks. The sender threatened to kill the lyricist and demanded Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan to spare him. The sender had claimed to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
