Rourkela Student Arunima Thakur Achieves All India Rank 1 in CLAT PG 2025 |
Rourkela: Arunima Thakur, a final-year law student from Rourkela, has secured All India Rank 1 in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) PG 2025 entrance exam with an impressive score of 99.993 percentile.
Arunima is the daughter of Amitabh Thakur, a safety inspector at SAIL’s Rourkela Steel Plant, and Ruma Thakur, a school teacher. She is currently pursuing her integrated law course at University College of Law, Utkal University.
“Securing AIR 1 is a milestone that will go a long way in promoting a career in civil services and judicial services,” said an elated Arunima, who aspires to become an IAS officer.
Her academic excellence dates back to her school days where she topped the steel city in both Class X and XII with 97.8% and 98.2%, respectively.
Beyond academics, Arunima has distinguished herself as an accomplished orator. “I owe my gratitude to the almighty, the principal and teachers of University Law College, my alma mater, and my family who have always encouraged me to become a good human being,” Arunima said.
