Rourkela: Plant Site police arrested a 45-year-old man on Monday for allegedly possessing over 32kg of ganja worth around Rs 2 lakh. The accused, identified as Chittaranjan Rout, alias Jaga, was apprehended near Sawmill Chowk following a tip-off. Police intercepted him as he alighted from a bus and recovered the ganja along with Rs 10,200 in cash. Rout, a resident of Mahatab Road near Hanuman temple, has been booked under the NDPS Act. Police are conducting further investigation into the case. TNN
