Bhubaneswar: Retired and serving police officers in the state have thrown their weight behind Bharatpur police personnel. “If the allegations by the couple are true, the concerned cops should face action. But, the investigation is in progress. Retired and serving Army officers, opposition parties and the public have already declared the suspected cops guilty.Let the court decide. Suspension of five police personnel should be revoked,” Odisha Police Association president Umesh Chandra Sahoo told reporters. Over 200 personnel of the commissionerate police threatened to boycott work if a false narrative is created against the Odisha Police. tnn
