Bhubaneswar: Springer Nature, a global publisher of research papers on science and technology, launched its Research Integrity in Science and Education (RISE) initiative at an event at a private deemed to be university here on Tuesday.
On the sidelines of the event, Steven Inchcoombe, president of research, Springer Nature, told TOI, “RISE is a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening India’s research landscape by nurturing talent, making research more open and transparent and improving its quality.It ensures that Indian researchers have free access to vital resources and training materials.”
Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the India Research Tour, which is a part of RISE starting on Sept 19, will provide young researchers an opportunity for discussions about research integrity.TNN
