Research conclave at FMU concludes | Bhubaneswar News

Bhubaneswar: The three-day Odisha Research Conclave (ORC)-2024 concluded at Fakir Mohan University (FMU), Balasore, on Saturday. The final technical session of the conclave focused on ‘Research and Development for Sustainable Growth of Industries‘.
Representatives of different industrial houses attended the session and discussed the requirement for collaborative research work between universities and industries. They suggested that professors and heads of universities convert research ideas into businesses. The company representatives also stated that collaborative research would help both industries and universities. Many students would get the chance to work in industries as a result of the collaboration, they added.
Santosh Kumar Tripathy, vice-chancellor of FMU, stressed industry-academia collaboration. Susmit Prasad Pani, a member of Odisha State Higher Education Council, emphasised the value of encouraging students and critical thinking while also stressing the necessity of striking a balance between various languages in research.
A poster presentation was conducted at the conclave. Best research presentations in different fields were awarded on Saturday.
