Railways Extends Services of 6 Special Trains to Manage Post-Festival Rush | Patna News – Times of India



Patna: Railways has extended services of six pairs of special passenger trains, mostly on the New Delhi route, originating from different places falling under the East Central Railway (ECR) to clear the post-festival rush of passengers. The railways has already extended services of more than 20 other long-distance mail and express special passenger trains on different routes.
According to the ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Saraswati Chandra, services of the Patna-New Delhi Sampoorna Kranti (02393/02394) have been extended till November 30. “The Patna-New Delhi special (03329/03330) will now run on November 21 and 23 from Patna and on November 22 and 24 from New Delhi,” he said.
Similarly, services of the Danapur-Anand Vihar (03317/03318) have been extended till November 22 and the Darbhanga-Anand Vihar (05581/05582) will leave on November 21 and 24 from Darbhanga and on November 22 and 25 from Anand Vihar. “The Saharsa-Anand Vihar (05577/05578) will run till November 25,” the CPRO said.
Likewise, the Saharsa-Ambala Cantt (05227/05228) will run on November 24 and 27 from Saharsa and on November 25 and 28 from Ambala Cantt.
