Railways extends services of 5 pairs of special passenger trains | – Times of India
Patna: The railways has extended services of five pairs of Bengaluru-bound special passenger trains to clear the rush on the Danapur-Bengaluru route.
East Central Railway (ECR)’s chief public relations officer Saraswati Chandra said the Danapur-Bengaluru (03245/03246) will run on August 7 from Danapur and on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru on August 9.“Another Danapur-Bengaluru (03259/03260) will leave Danapur on August 6 and on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru on August 8,” he said.
One more Danapur-Bengaluru (03251/03252) will run on August 4 and 5 and on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru on August 6 and 7. Similarly, the Danapur-Bengaluru (03247/03248) will run on August 1 and 8 from Danapur and on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru on August 3 and 10.
“Another, Danapur-Bengaluru (03241/03242) will leave Danapur on August 2 and 9 while on its return journey, it will leave Bengaluru on August 4 and 11,” Chandra said.
In addition, the railways will run a special train between Lalkuan near Nainital and Howrah (05059/05060) from August 1 to September 30 to clear passengers’ rush. “The train will leave every Thursday from Lalkuan at 1.35pm and reach Howrah the next day at 11.30pm via Hajipur-Muzaffarpur-Samastipur-Barauni-Kiul route,” he said.
