Puri Airport: Govt yet to submit DPR on Puri airport: Minister | Bhubaneswar News
Bhubaneswar: Union civil aviation minister K Rammohan Naidu on Monday told Rajya Sabha that the state govt is yet to submit a detailed project report (DPR) with respect to establishing an international greenfield airport in Puri. He was replying to a question from BJD RS member Sasmit Patra.
In his reply the minister said, “The govt (Centre) has granted site clearance to state govt for setting up of the greenfield airport.The state govt is required to prepare a detailed project report including development plan, cost, funding, traffic projections, timeline for completion etc. Prior to commencement of constriction, state govt has to submit an application along with DPR to the ministry of civil aviation”.
