Bhubaneswar: Senior BJD member and former MP Prasanna Kumar Patsani (78) will formally join the BJP very soon. He met some BJP members as well as its newly elected MPs and MLAs in New Delhi.
Patsani was Bhubaneswar MP for five consecutive terms from 1998 to 2019. Before that, he was the Khurda MLA for four consecutive terms from 1980 to 1998. He became disillusioned with the BJD’s top brass after the regional party denied him tickets for the 2019 and 2024 elections.A photo featuring Patsani wearing a shawl with the BJP symbol is going viral on social media.
