Patna: Additional chief secretary (ACS), state’s education dept, S Siddharth, on Thursday appealed to all the teachers and students to actively participate in making schools and colleges across the state green and clean. On World Environment Day, he planted saplings beside the J P Ganga Path.“Let us celebrate this sapling plantation season like a festival, as this is the most suitable time for plantation. Plant more trees and fulfil your responsibilities towards the environment,” he said.He further said the dept is committed to integrating environmental awareness into the education system, to develop a sense of sensitivity and responsibility towards nature among the students.
