Patna: Two motorcycle-borne criminals snatched a woman’s gold chain in Patna’s Kankarbagh area on Tuesday. The victim, Nidhi Srivastava, was walking home from school with her daughter near Shivaji Park when the incident occurred. The criminals approached her, asked for directions and then stole her chain before fleeing, Kankarbagh SHO Neeraj Thakur said.
Three held in robbery case: Patna police arrested three criminals involved in a November 22 robbery in Masaurhi. The accused — Sushil Kumar (Jehanabad), Pappu Kumar and Akash Kumar (Masaurhi) — were had robbed videographer Badal Kumar of cash, a camera and a cellphone at gunpoint. SDPO Nabh Vaibhav said CCTV footage and local inquiries led to the arrests.
