Patna Eatery Owner Shot Dead: Main Shooter Arrested | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: Acting on tip-off, city police on Wednesday arrested the main shooter in the murder case of an eatery owner that took place in Pirbahore area about a month ago.
Hotel owner Shakeel Ahmad, alias Malik, was shot dead by two people on October 20 while he was sitting on his bike outside his residence. The attackers had pumped in five bullets to his head and chest before fleeing the spot.
Pirbahor police station SHO Abdul Halim said they were were identified. “Late on Tuesday night, a tip-off was received about one of the shooters, Mohd Sonu, who was visiting his in-laws in Phulwari police station area. A police team went there on Wednesday and arrested Sonu.”
“Police are still searching for the second shooter, while conspirator Didiya was arrested from his home on November 10” the SHO said.
Shakeel, a resident of Dariyapur Fakirwara area for the past 40 years, owned two eateries on Exhibition Road and New Market area.
