Mumbai: A 58-year-old woman was crushed underneath a civic bus in Bhayander (East) on Thursday. Angry passengers vandalised the bus. The incident occurred around 12:39 pm when the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation bus approaching the bus stop in Bhainderwadi. The woman, Durga Bisht, was crossing the road when she got crushed underneath the bus. Passengers standing at the bus stop rushed Bisht to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw.She was declared dead upon arrival. tnn
