Parking Dispute: 2 arrested for killing duo over parking dispute | Bhubaneswar News


Bhubaneswar: The city police on Sunday arrested two persons for their involvement in the murder of two youngsters over a parking dispute in an apartment complex under Airfield police station limits in Bhubaneswar earlier this month.
The accused were identified as Ganesh Mallick and Pradeep Mallick. Ganesh was the parking supervisor of the apartment, Kalyani Plaza Annex, while Pradeep was his friend.The two had fled the spot after the murder on August 7. They were nabbed from Hanspal area.
The victims were identified as Rashmiranjan Sethi and Sambit Rout.
Police said the victims were not residents of the apartment nor was the parking area in question allotted to any of their friends or relatives.
Police investigation revealed that the parking space had not been allotted among the residents and there used to be frequent quarrels over parking of vehicles there.
