Kendrapada: Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday emphasised Paradip‘s crucial role in state’s industrial and economic framework, announcing that the port city will serve as a laboratory for the ‘Purvodaya Mission‘ under the double-engine govt.
Speaking at a BJP-organised meeting in Paradip, Pradhan highlighted the significant investments already made in the region. “An investment of over Rs 65,000 crore has been allocated for industrial development in Paradip. The port’s achievement in handling 100 million metric tons of cargo marks a milestone for Odisha’s industrial sector,” he said.

“Without Paradip’s development, neither Odisha nor India can progress,” Pradhan said.
