Over 800-litre liquor seized

Chhapra: During a special drive, police seized over 800-litre liquor and arrested at least five persons from different places in Saran district on Thursday. Police seized 190 litres of country-made liquor and arrested two liquor traders from Chhota Jhouan village. Saran SP Kumar Ashish the arrested traders were identified as Pintu Kumar of Khori Pakar under Garkha PS and Uday Ray of Balua village under Doriganj PS.Police also seized 71.1 litres of IMFL from Rewa Ghat bridge and arrested one Abhishek Patel, resident of Ahiapur PS and Darshan Kumar of Ranaki under Garaha PS in Muzaffarpur district. In yet another raid, police seized 76.89 litres of IMFL and nabbed three traders—Shivam Sharma of Kankarbagh and Vijay Kumar Gupta of Patliputra in Patna district and Aditya Kumar of Vaishali.
