Odisha works minister asks for progress report of SCB work every 15 days | Bhubaneswar News
BHUBANESHWAR: Prithiviraj Harichandan, the works minister, on Thursday directed his officials and the construction company to submit a progress report on the new campus work of SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, every 15 days.
He chaired a meeting here to review the ongoing work of SCB’s AIIMS+ facility on 48 acres of land. He wanted to know the actual progress of the project.
This new campus will have 266 ICU beds and 2,058 other beds for general medicine, general surgery, trauma care, and other departments.The campus will also feature 512 units in 13 residential towers for different categories of doctors and hospital staff.
The minister discussed the creation of special hostels for 2,278 students, facilities like a kitchen, laundry, data center, central store, resting place for attendants of patients, and multi-storied car parking in the campus. He asked the officials and the construction company to speed up the work.
