This section of the coastal road project will be accessible to traffic from Monday to Friday, between 7.00am and 11.00pm . However, will remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate the completion of the remaining project work. A temporary route has been established to provide access to the coastal bridge.
During the visit, Municipal commissioner and administrator Gagarani provided CM Shinde with an overview of the project and the routes that have been gradually opened.
The 3.5 km northbound road from Haji Ali to Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan has been completed and is being temporarily opened for the convenience of the public. This route only provides access to the Coastal Bridge, while Dr. Annie Besant Marg and Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan Marg will continue to serve as the regular roads to reach the Worli and Prabhadevi areas.
