No proof of honeytrap, but minister KN Rajanna will file complaint: DK Shivakumar | Bengaluru News

BENGALURU: Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, who is also KPCC president, Sunday claimed cooperation minister KN Rajanna, who spoke of a honey-trapping attempt targeting him and 47 others, had no documentary evidence to support his allegation.
“As KPCC president, I asked Rajanna to provide me evidence of his allegations. He said he had none. I’ve asked him to file a complaint with police,” said Shivakumar.
Asked if the honeytrap case was becoming an embarrassment to the party and govt, Shivakumar said he would discuss the issue with the CM.
Will fight for K’taka’s rights, says DKS
Earlier last week, Rajanna had created a political storm when he claimed in the legislative assembly that 48 legislators were honey-trapped and it required an investigation as to who was behind it.
On the delimitation row, Shivakumar said he actively participated in the southern states’ meeting against the proposed redrawing of parliamentary borders based on population.
“There is a possibility that the Centre will reduce our seats by two, which we are opposing. We’ll fight for the rights and s of Karnataka,” Shivakumar said.
