No meat sale tomorrow

Bengaluru: On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, to be observed Monday, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike announced a ban on slaughter of animals and sale of meat in areas within its jurisdiction.The joint director ofBBMP animal husbandry department directed that all slaughterhouses and meat shops remain closed Monday.
