Nitish flags off 43 luxury buses for interstate travel | Patna News – Times of India



Patna: CM Nitish Kumar on Thursday flagged off 43 deluxe buses of the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC), equipped with modern amenities to boost interstate travel. The launch event took place near the CM’s official residence at 1, Anne Marg.
Before inaugurating the buses, Nitish inspected the vehicles and reviewed the facilities provided. “These buses will offer affordable, accessible and smooth travel, thanks to the modern amenities incorporated,” the CM said during the ceremony.
The new deluxe buses are designed to operate along designated interstate routes, connecting various parts of the state and beyond. The initiative is aimed at providing a comfortable and economical travel option for passengers while improving the state’s public transport infrastructure.
The flagging-off event was attended by several dignitaries, including deputy chief ministers Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, transport minister Sheila Kumari, rural works department minister Ashok Chaudhary, principal secretary to the CM Deepak Kumar, chief Secretary Amrit Lal Meena, development commissioner Pratyaya Amrit, transport secretary Sanjay Kumar Agrawal and transport commissioner Naveen Kumar.
