Nigerian nat’l held at airport with 8cr drug | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: Customs officers at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai arrested a Nigerian national and seized 785 grams of suspected cocaine worth Rs 7.85 crore in the illicit market. Officials said he arrived from Addis Ababa on April 10 morning.
The passenger was flagged during spot profiling due to signs of nervousness and uneasiness. The customs officials sought court’s permission for his medical examination. After obtaining the court’s approval, he was admitted to JJ Hospital, where he underwent an X-ray test that confirmed presence of foreign particles in his body. He was admitted to the hospital, where he purged several yellow pellets containing cocaine. tnn
