NIFT-P welcomes 208 students with 3-day programme | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: National Institute of Fashion Technology-Patna (NIFT-P) on Wednesday started a three-day orientation programme for its 208 newly admitted students in the current academic session (2024-25). The orientation programme aims at familiarizing the newcomers with the institute’s academic structure and infrastructural facilities.
After the verification of their documents and registration, an interactive session for the students and their guardians was held, during which the director and other faculty members provided valuable insights into the ethos and academic approach of the institution.
Director Rahul Sharma called upon the students to utilise every moment of their transformative years on the campus purposefully to fulfil their ambition in life. He asked the students to explore their path fearlessly and push their boundaries as far as they could. He also apprised the students of the special features of the institution meant for their grand introduction to the world of fashion and design.
State SC and ST welfare secretary Divesh Sehra, who was the chief guest on the occasion, appealed to the students to become good citizens for excelling in higher studies. He said the youths have great potential for taking the country to greater heights and make it a superpower.
An enthralling performance by Bihu dancers was also presented under the banner of SPIC-MACAY to conclude the programme.
