New Principal assumes charge at Sainik School Nalanda | Patna News – Times of India
Patna: Col Bhupender Kumar has assumed charge as the new principal of Sainik School Nalanda. Col S Mohanrao R, principal, Sainik School Tilaiya who was in additional charge of principal, Sainik School Nalanda, handed over the charge to Col Bhupender Kumar on Tuesday.
In his address to staff and cadets, Col Bhupender Kumar said Nalanda has been a land of knowledge since ancient times and he feels privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead the Mauryan family.“Sainik School Nalanda is renowned nationally for its academic and co-curricular achievements and I am committed to contributing for overall development at school,” he said.

Wayanad disaster result of illegal human habitats, mining allowed by Kerala: Bhupender Yadav
Union environment minister Bhupender Yadav criticized the Kerala government for allowing illegal human habitat expansion and mining in the ecologically fragile Wayanad district. He attributed the recent landslides to this negligence. The Centre issued a sixth draft notification to declare parts of the Western Ghats, including Wayanad, as ecologically sensitive areas, seeking states’ cooperation. The landslides claimed 222 lives.
