Chemotherapy ward opened at Muz hosp

Patna: Health minister Mangal Pandey inaugurated the day care and chemotherapy ward at the new superspecialty block of Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, on Saturday. After inspecting the newly constructed radiotherapy building at the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Muzaffarpur, as well as the under-construction main hospital building, Pandey announced that radiotherapy facilities for cancer patients would begin in October 2024.
Pandey said construction of the main hospital building is 70% complete, with an expected completion date of March 2025.He said the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital is currently utilising certain areas of SKMCH for cancer treatment.
