The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued a notice regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2024. As per the notice, the board has introduced three time-bound sections in NEET SS 2024. Last year, it implemented this restriction in all multiple-choice question (MCQ)-based exams conducted on a computer-based platform to enhance exam security.
The NEET SS 2024 question paper will be divided into three time-bound sections: Section A, Section B, and Section C. Each section will contain 50 questions and will be allotted 50 minutes. Candidates cannot proceed to the next section until the allotted time for the previous section is completed.
The official notice reads, ‘The question paper for NEET-SS 2024 will be divided into three-time bound sections, namely Section A, B & C. Each section will have 50 questions and 50 minutes of time allotted for the section. Candidates would be restricted to proceed to the next section till completion of the allotted time of the previous section and candidates would not be allowed to review the questions/ modify the responses of a section after the completion of the allotted time of that section.’
The notice also states that candidates will be able to access the demo test on the official website under the NEET SS 2024 application link from today, March 20, 2025.
