Mumbai: The All India Sunni Jamiatul Ulema condemned the massacre of tourists in Pahalgam. “This is a heinous crime which has no justification in Islam or humanity. The tourists were innocent…The perpetrators asked the victims to identify themselves with a diabolical aim to foment communal trouble in the country,” said senior spiritual leader Maulana Moin Ashraf Quadri (Moin Mian), who also heads the Sunni Jamiatul Ulema. He added that clerics assembled at Sunni Bilal Masjid on Wednesday to condemn the massacre and condole the deaths.
Saeed Noorie of Raza Academy also condemned the killings and demanded justice for the families. tnn
