Mumbai: After dipping to 19 degree Celsius on Thursday, the city’s minimum temperature rose again to 22.6 degrees on Friday.
The India Meteorological Department‘s Santacruz observatory Thursday recorded minimum temperatures of 22.6 degrees, which was one degree above normal, while the one at Colaba recorded 25 degrees, which was 0.7 degrees above normal. Just a day ago, minimum temperatures recorded by the IMD’s Colaba and Santacruz observatories were 24.4 degrees and 19 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The city’s day temperatures recorded on Friday by the IMD’s Colaba and Santacruz observatories were 32.4 degrees and 33.6 degrees, respectively. In case of the Colaba observatory, this was 1.1 degrees below normal, and for Santacruz, 0.3 degrees below normal. The weather bureau, in its forecast, said that on Saturday, the city could see fog or mist in the morning and a partly cloudy sky later. Minimum temperatures are likely to be around 24 degrees and maximum temperatures around 35 degrees.tnn
