Mumbai’s Elphinstone road over bridge to shut for 2 years from tomorrow | Mumbai News – The Times of India

As the Elphinstone Bridge is scheduled for demolition and reconstruction, it will be closed for two years beginning April 10. To manage traffic during this period, the traffic police have announced road diversions and restrictions for motorists.
Traffic heading for Dadar West: Turn right at Parel TT Junction, proceed via BA Road, take a left at Dadar TT Junction, and use Tilak Bridge to reach destination.

Traffic heading for Prabhadevi and Worli: Proceed via Parel TT Junction, continue straight on BA Road to Krishna Nagar Junction – Parel Workshop – Supari Bagh Junction – Bharat Mata Junction. From there, take a right onto Mahadev Palav Road, cross Currey Road Railway Bridge, turn right at Shingte Master Chowk, and proceed via Lower Parel Bridge.
Traffic heading for Parel via Elphinstone Bridge: Go straight from Elphinstone Junction, turn left at Wadacha Naka Junction, use Lower Parel Bridge, turn left at Shingte Master Chowk, continue via Mahadev Palav Road and Currey Road Railway Bridge to Bharat Mata Junction.

From Elphinstone Junction, take a left at Wadacha Naka Junction, go via Lower Parel Bridge and continue straight from Shingte Master Chowk via NM Joshi Road. At Chinchpokli Junction, turn left to Sane Guruji Road, cross Chinchpokli Bridge, turn left from Sant Jagnade Chowk and proceed to destination.
Objections to the notification should be mailed to the additional commissioner of police, traffic, before April 13: addlcp.traffic@mahapolice.gov.in
