Mumbai weather: Rain to hit city today, check forecast for this week

NEW DELHI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts Mumbai’s maximum temperature to be 32 Degrees Celsius and minimum temperature to hit 26 Degrees Celsius for Sunday.
The heavy rain in the city has cooled down the temperature but the humidity is still high. According to the IMD, the
relative humidity at 8:30 am is 90% and the wind speed is 80 km/h.
For today, the IMD forecasted that there will be a cloudy sky with moderate rain while on July 8 Mumbai is predicted to experience a minimum and maximum temperature of 25 °C and 32 °C, respectively. Tomorrow humidity levels will be at 77%. The sky will predominantly remain cloudy with light rain.

The IMD also predicted that there will be rain in the city on July 11 and 12. If you are planning to go out and explore the city please check the weather and plan accordingly.
On Saturday, the IMD issued an orange alert in Madhya Maharashtra as it is predicted that the region will receive solated heavy to very heavy rainfall.
“Madhya Maharashtra is very likely to get isolated heavy (64.5-115.5 mm) to very heavy rainfall (115.5-204.4 mm) on 6th & 7th July, 2024,” IMD said in a tweet.

Meanwhile the air quality of the Mumbai stands at 64 AQI-US, which is a moderate. The current PM2.5 concentration in Mumbai is 1.1 times above the recommended limit given by the WHO 24 hrs air quality guidelines value, according to the AQI site.

As per the site, the AQI in Bandra East, Borivali East and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport are good while in the Bandra, Bandra Curla Complex and Colaba are poor.
