Mumbai weather: Met dept says expect light rain, thunder this weekend – Times of India
MUMBAI: The Mumbai Metropolitan Region is set to witness light rain and thunderstorms this weekend. The India Meteorological Department said there was a yellow alert in place for these areas.
On Sunday, Thane may experience light rain with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 30-40 kmph. Raigad is expected to see similar weather conditions for three days starting Saturday.The forecast for the city is light rain and thundershowers until Tuesday.
Residents can expect the day temperature to hover around 33-35 degrees Celsius and night temperature to be between 25-28 degrees Celsius throughout the weekend.
There will be a slight dip in temperature, by two to three degrees Celsius, in the following days. There is no heat wave warning for the state.
