Mumbai to Nagpur in 8 hours! Samruddhi Expressway’s last 76km stretch likely to open on May 2 | Mumbai News – The Times of India

The last 76km leg of the Rs 55,000 crore Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Super-Expressway, between Bhiwandi and Igatpuri, is likely to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 2.
The full 701km high-speed corridor links Mumbai, Nashik and Nagpur.
The final section of Samruddhi Mahamarg, between Igatpuri and Amne village in Bhiwandi, is the expressway’s most challenging to-construct stretch, carved through the rugged Sahyadri terrain.
