Coordinates have been issued for the no fishing zones.Shoot to kill orders have been issued in the offshore defence areas, the community has been warned.Directives have been issued not to go fishing near oil rigs and not to seek shelter around oil rigs in case of storms.Fishermen have been urged to cooperate with the Licensing Officer in these difficult times as the responsibility of protecting the coast is also on the fishermen.As per the latest survey by the central govt, Maharashtra’s coastline is 877.97 kms.
