Monkey on biting spree near sea link | Mumbai News – The Times of India

Mumbai: A monkey has bitten three labourers close to the sea link extension site near Carter Road, Bandra (west), unleashing fear among the workers. A company which has deployed the labourers at the Versova-Bandra sea link extension site has sought help to “rescue the monkey”.
The simian’s “aggressive” behaviour could be due to sound of machinery at the site, said an animal rescuer. “Sound of movement of gantries is like that of monkeys in distress — thin creaky, squishy sound, like ball bearings in need of oiling,” said Atul Kamble of NGO Wildlife Animal Protection & Rescue Association, who visited the site.
