Modi should not take oath as PM on moral grounds | Patna News – Times of India

Gaya: Rashtriya Janata Dal’s member-elect of parliament (MP) from Aurangabad, Abhay Kumar Sinha, has said Narendra Modi should not take oath as the next prime minister on moral grounds.
“He claimed of crossing 400 seats but his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) could not even touch the figure of 300. In fact, people have totally rejected the BJP. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government worked in an arbitrary manner only for the benefit of the capitalists.Again in the new government, there will be bargaining by different alliance partners,” he said without naming any while talking to reporters at his residence in Gaya on Thursday.
Sinha, who defeated the BJP’s Sushil Kumar Singh in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections, further said availability of water in the canal of North Koel Reservoir for irrigation purpose will be his top priority. “Availability of water in the canal is more than a decade-old demand that will solve the irrigation problem of the farmers of Aurangabad. I will raise the issue of North Koel canal in the parliament, which my predecessors forgot, and misled the people just to do politics on this issue,” he said.
