Patna: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday gave tips to the BJP leaders on how to take the NDA govt’s welfare schemes to the most marginalised people across Bihar and how to strengthen the saffron party in the state.During an around 70-minute-long meeting with the senior BJP functionaries, including its MPs, MLAs and MLCs at the party office here, Modi also advised the party’s senior officials on how to maintain coordination with different allies in the NDA so that the BJP-led alliance could register a marvelous victory in the next state assembly elections, which is due in Oct-Nov this year.“The PM talked mainly on two points. First, on how to reach the central and state govt’s welfare schemes to the most marginalised people in different parts of the state, and secondly, how to strengthen the BJP and the NDA ahead of the assembly elections across the state,” state BJP president Dilip Kumar Jaiswal told TOI soon after the meeting.“The PM mainly gave tips on how to activate the organization members and how to work in the upcoming elections. He urged the BJP workers to dedicate themselves at the booth level to ensure victory of the alliance candidates,” Dr Nikki Hembram, the BJP MLA from Katoria in Banka district, told reporters.“At the PM’s meeting, there was a discussion on how to work in the upcoming elections and how to engage with the workers. The PM also explained how to present government’s welfare schemes to the common people,” the BJP MLA Alok Ranjan said.After the meeting, the PM attended the engagement ceremony of deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha’s son in Patna.
