MUMBAI: Versova MLA Haroon Khan and music director Sajid of Sajid-Wajid duo attended Haji Mudassar Patel‘s Ramzan ration kits’ distribution a couple of days. Around 1000 Ramzan ration kits were distributed at Anjuman-I-Isam’s school and Dr MIJT Unani Medical College campus at Yari Road in Versova.
“Mudassar Patel has been a friend and like a brother for years. I know him since the days I was s corporator. He has been doing good work and I am always with him in his endeavours to make life easier for the deprived deprived,” said Haroon Khan, Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA. Khan added that helping the poor in the holy month of Ramzan is a noble work. He congratulated Patel for his charitable works.
Sajid whose brother Wajid and one half of the Sajid Wajid duo died a couple of years ago was also very appreciative of the efforts of Mudassar Patel. They underlined the importance of help to the needy with ration in this holy month when Muslim needs to eat well and eat nutritious food in the night so that they can observe fast in the day comfortably. He also congratulated Patel.
Principal of Dr MIJT Unani Medical College Dr Rashid Kazi hailed Mudassar Patel for his selfless works.
“I am a small man. It is Allah who has made me a medium to reach out to you and do something. May we all get blessed in this holy month,” said Patel.
Recently, Patel who is also called “Samaritan of Mahim” distributed over 1000 Ramzan ration kits at Anjuman-I-Isam’s school in Bandra West.
