Koraput: Even after 48 hours of his disappearance, Amlan Bhoi, a physician posted at Kalimela community health centre (CHC) in Malkangiri district, is yet to be traced.
Preliminary police probe suggests Bhoi may have incurred significant losses in IPL betting, which could be a factor in his disappearance. “We have scrutinized his activities over the past one week, and CCTV footage shows he withdrew money from an ATM shortly before he went missing,” a police officer said.
Bhoi of Phulbani was posted in Malkangiri since Jan. His parents arrived in Malkangiri on Monday, seeking assistance from the district administration.TNN
