Mira-Bhayander to get its own sub-regional transport office – The Times of India

Mumbai: March 1 is celebrated as “Transport Day,” marking the establishment of the Transport Department (RTO). On the eve of this day, the state transport ministry announced the 58th sub-regional transport office in the state for Mira-Bhayander.
State transport minister Pratap Sarnaik represented the residents of Mira-Bhayander since 2009, pursuing the need for a sub-regional transport office in the area. “This spacious office will be built on land acquired from the govt in Uttan. Additionally, on March 8, coinciding with Women’s Day, the inauguration of the civil court building will take place,” Sarnaik informed media persons. He also expressed confidence that a police commissioner’s office will be established in the area in the future.
