Mini Jurassic park to open in city by month-end | Bhubaneswar News
Bhubaneswar: A mini Jurassic park with a jungle theme, realistic dinosaur structures and a light and sound show will be opened in the city by this month-end. “The park will be the first-of-its-kind in Odisha,” Regional Science Centre (RCS), which will inaugurate the park, named ‘Dinosaur Alive‘, said.
The park will showcase life-sized models of various dinosaur species, along with other wildlife creatures brought to life with special effects that aim to recreate the prehistoric era. “Our goal is to provide an engaging and educational experience. Visitors will feel like they are walking through a real jungle filled with dinosaurs. A unique feature of the park is a prehistoric story narration, which will be given to the visitors as they explore the area,” Kapil Jain, the head of RCS, Bhubaneswar, said.
“We have used motion frequency, advanced graphics and accurately scaled dinosaur structures to make the experience as lively as possible. Almost all the work is complete and we are excited to welcome visitors soon,” Jain added.
In addition to the dinosaur exhibits, the park will feature an engaging light and sound show which will add a dramatic feel to the entire experience. The park will open in the morning after 10 am and will remain open during evening hours, allowing visitors to enjoy the dynamic lighting effects that enhance the park’s ambience.
“Special care has been taken to ensure the structures are scientifically accurate and engaging for both children and adults. We aim to spark curiosity about these fascinating creatures that once roamed the Earth,” Jain added.
