Mhada auctions five plots reserved for hospital and educational institutes (revised) | Mumbai News – Times of India
MUMBAI: Mhada’s Mumbai Board conducted an e-auction on Tuesday for the sale of five plots — one reserved for a hospital and four for educational institutions in various colonies of the city.
An Oshiwara plot was sold to Medanta Hospital for Rs 1.25 billion. This highest bid of Rs 125 crore was placed by Global Health Ltd. for the Medanta Hospital plot that measures 8,850 sq.m. Mhada had set a base price of Rs 674.9 million.
Another 1,989 sq. m educational plot in Malwani, Malad, was sold to Pragati Shikshan Sanstha for Rs 110 million. An educational plot in Tagore Nagar, Mouje Haryali, measuring 2,019 sq. m was auctioned for Rs 122.1 million. The base price for these plots was fixed at Rs 106.6 million and Rs 118.1 million respectively.
A women’s polytechnic institution plot in Kannamwar Nagar, Vikhroli, measuring 3,010 sq. m was won by Navchetna Charitable Trust with its bid of Rs 180.5 million, against a base price of Rs 177.5 million. An educational reservation plot in Tagore Nagar, Vikhroli, measuring 3,360 sq. m sold to Radhikabai Meghe Women’s Education Institute for Rs 260 million against a base price of Rs 215.2 million.
