BHUBANESWAR: A major fire broke out at a scrap godown in Beherapali, under Badmal police limits in Jharsuguda, early Saturday morning.
The blaze, which started around 5.40am, spread rapidly, prompting the deployment of over five fire tenders.
Officials are struggling to control the flames due to the high volume of plastic scrap at the site.
Efforts to douse the fire are ongoing.
