Mumbai: A day after the city saw the second coldest Nov night in seven years, the minimum temperature rose marginally from 18.5°C to 18.9°C on Friday. IMD’s Santacruz observatory recorded a minimum temperature of 18.9°C (1.7° below normal), and Colaba station 22.8°C (0.3° below normal).
The day temperatures were also low—32.5°C at the Colaba observatory, which was 1.1° below normal, and 34.7°C at the Santacruz station, which was 0.7° above normal. Relative humidity was 77% and 70% at Colaba and Santacruz, respectively.
IMD said maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 34°C and 19°C, respectively, on Saturday. tnn
