KORAPUT: A Maoist was killed in an exchange of fire in Malkangiri district, Odisha, during the early hours of Thursday.
One security personnel was injured in the gunfight and has been taken to the district hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the incident took place in a forested area under the MV-79 police jurisdiction, near the Chhattisgarh border.
