Berhampur: Police busted a Maoist camp in Kandhamal district on Wednesday following an exchange of fire between Special Operation Group (SOG) personnel and rebels, on the eve of Independence Day. Police said several materials, including detonators and IEDs, were seized from the spot on Manik Saru hills on the Kandhamal-Kalahandi border.tnn

The police raided a factory, arrested four individuals, and seized 3,315 injections worth over Rs 12 lakh. The gang leader, Jishan Shahnwaz Rathi, remains at large.
