KESAMUDRAM: A man was murdered by his in-laws at Dharmaram thanda in Mahabubabad district on Saturday night. The man’s wife allegedly assisted her parents in killing her husband. The deceased was identified as L Bala (35), a resident of Hyderabad, who worked as a private driver in the city. The accused are Bala’s wife L Mounika, father-in-law B Veeranna, and mother-in-law B Kaila. Speaking to the media, Kesamudram sub inspector (SI) Muralidhar Raj stated that the deceased used to get drunk frequently and harass his wife Mounika. Vexed with her husband’s mistreatment, Mounika left him and went back to her parents’ residence in Dharmaram thanda and was living with them. On Saturday night, Bala came to Dharmaram and started a heated argument with his wife and in-laws. Not tolerating her husband’s arguments Mounika threw red chilli powder in his eyes while Veeranna and Kaila started stabbed him with a knife. Hearing a commotion, the neighbours rushed to Veeranna’s residence and found Bala lying in a pool of blood. They informed the Kesamudram police and shifted him to Mahabubabad Government Hospital for treatment. The doctors announced Bala dead on arrival.
